RIGDUP is a small Australian workshop making roof top tents, 270° awnings and camper trailers for people who actually use them. Designed on the Gold Coast. Tested from the Gibb to the Simpson.
Our story
Built for explorers, by explorers.
RIGDUP started because the gear we owned was not good enough. Too slow to set up. Too flimsy in real wind. Made for showrooms, not the country we drive in.
So we got to work. We pulled apart the tents we hated and studied the rigs we admired. We drew, built, tested and started again. The goal was simple: a tent that opens in about a minute, packs down clean, holds its shape in a Cape York crosswind, and does not crack when the temperature swings 30 degrees.
Today we run a workshop in Molendinar on the Gold Coast and ship across the country. We test every product ourselves, in real conditions, before it goes anywhere near a customer.
If we would not take it on a three-week trip, we will not sell it.
