The roof hinges up at one end on gas struts, like a clamshell. It is the fastest to open and close, and it packs down slim, so there is less wind noise on the highway. Best if you move camp most days.

Fold-out (Nomad 1.8M)

The tent folds out over the side of your rig, and the ladder holds it up. You get a bigger floor, with room for 2 to 3. Best if you stay put for a few nights and want space.

How fast does it set up?
The Nomad 1.4M hardshell is up in about 60 seconds. Undo 2 latches and the gas struts lift the roof. It packs down in about 90 seconds, and your bedding stays inside. The 270° awnings take about 2 minutes. No tools, no poles.
Will it fit my vehicle?
Most 4WDs, utes and SUVs with a load-rated roof rack or platform. Your vehicle’s dynamic roof load (in the owner’s manual) has to cover the tent, the rack and the awning together. Our tents weigh 72 kg (1.4M) and 88 kg (1.8M). Check yours in 2 minutes with the fitting guide, or send us your make and model.
Are they waterproof?
Yes. The canvas is rated PU3000mm and the seams are sealed. It is also UV50+ for Australian sun.
What is the warranty?
2 years on tents and awnings. 3 years on the camper trailer body and chassis, and 1 year on its accessories. Claims go to our Gold Coast workshop, and you never pay to make one.
